Description: Pilipinas Got Talent is a Philippine talent show on ABS-CBN that began February 20, 2010. It is based on the Got Talent franchise, a British TV format conceived and owned by Simon Cowell's SYCO company. "Pilipinas" is the Filipino word for Philippines. The first series of the talent show began on 20 February 2010, and was broadcast weekly with a live final on 13 June 2010, in which Jovit Baldivino won.

The search for the country's best acts continues as ABS-CBN does a back-to-back season of Got Talent, a first for the worldwide franchise. Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3 will kick off July 9. Following the victory of Marcelito Pomoy two weeks ago, the talent-reality show once again headed to different parts of Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao to discover more exciting acts.
